Common questions

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrated portion of your own blood to support healing. Platelets contain growth factors that help repair damaged tissue, reduce inflammation, and stimulate the body’s natural recovery process. PRP is commonly used for joint pain, soft tissue injuries, and aesthetic concerns.

Regenerative orthobiologics are treatments that use natural biological substances, such as platelets and other healing factors, to support the repair of injured joints, muscles, and soft tissues. These therapies are designed to enhance your body’s natural healing response and may help reduce pain and improve function without surgery.

Regenerative treatments like PRP can be effective for many patients, but they are not appropriate for every condition or individual. Ideal candidates are typically experiencing mild to moderate joint pain, soft tissue injuries, or early-stage degeneration. A consultation allows us to evaluate your condition and determine if this approach is right for you.

Not always. Many patients explore regenerative therapies as a way to avoid or delay surgery, especially in the earlier stages of injury or joint degeneration. While some conditions may still require surgical treatment, PRP and similar therapies can often provide meaningful relief with less downtime.

Most regenerative treatments, including PRP, are considered elective and are not typically covered by insurance. However, many patients choose these options as a way to potentially reduce long-term costs associated with surgery or ongoing medications. We’ll review pricing and payment options with you during your consultation.

Scheduling is simple. You can call our office or use our online booking system to select a convenient time. During your visit, we’ll assess your condition, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
