Meet Dr. Graeme Matthewson
"Just a quick introduction. My name is Dr. Graeme Matthewson and I’m a sports orthopedic surgeon. I strongly believe that tenets to long life, health and happiness consists of love, family, activity and community. One of my core beliefs is that humans are meant to move and be active and that movement starts with strength and controlled mobility. My goal as a treating practitioner is to get you moving again and do the things you love and spending time with the people you love. I am here to be your guide through the medical system and piece you back together brick by brick, step by step. A wise man once said that a baby step each day gets you a lot further in a year than large jumps with routine set backs. The human body is extremely adaptable, it just doesn’t like doing anything quickly. When lifestyle and rehabilitation efforts fail, I’m also here to help you with the soft tissue repair (tendons and ligaments) and joint replacement (resurfacing or total arthroplasty) options to keep you moving and an active participant in YOUR life. I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you might have in the future."
